In my art, I portray the pain from the oppressive systems we live in, but contrast it with the vibrancy of human love and joy. I hope to offer a visual guide towards finding a way through. There is importance in looking in, then looking out, as a way to better understand our roles in the time we have. I hope in sharing this intimacy, people feel seen in their own experiences, too.
